The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship is the UK's most illustrious championship and is followed all over the world. The racing is fast, close and full of action. Since its inception in 1958, it has attracted and captivated millions of fans around the world. All cars are built to the same regulations allowing independent teams to compete on a level playing field against manufacturer-backed teams. Support championships include; F4 British Championship, Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship, The Mini Challenge Trophy, Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain.

13-15 year olds

Children between 13-15 years old will need to hold a teen ticket for this race meeting.

Children 12 & Under Go Free

Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult (max 5 children per responsible adult) are admitted to the circuit and paddock (providing the responsible adult is still accompanying them) free of charge.

Grandstand Seats

Children 5 and under will be permitted to sit on a parent/guardian lap and therefore admitted free of charge. Where pre-allocated seats are issued then all seats taken must be paid for, irrespective of age. Seat numbers have been reduced to allow for social distancing. If guidance is relaxed closer to the event, we’ll make more seats available to purchase.

Paddock Access

Saturday 28 May - Paddock access is free. Admission tickets include access to the paddock.
Sunday 29 May - An adult paddock ticket is required. Teen tickets include paddock access.

CAMPING

If you wish to camp at Thruxton for the BTCC race meeting, you will need to purchase a camping pitch. Each pitch allows a maximum of six adults camping (children 12 and under do not count). All equipment and vehicles must fit inside your pitch. If not, vehicles can be parked in the public car park. Your pitch will be yours for the duration of the event and will be allocated to you on your arrival. Camping pitches are limited and must be purchased in advance.

Should we be unable to have spectators at a race meeting in 2022. Customers will have the option of a full refund or to transfer their tickets.

We've put measures in place to ensure Thruxton operates in a Covid secure environment, ensuring spectators are kept safe whilst enjoying the racing action on the track. We'll keep our website updated with the latest information and guidance and will communicate with all ticket holders regularly.

Thruxton BTCC To Be Run Behind Closed Doors

We are sorry to inform you that this year’s Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) race meeting at Thruxton (19/20 September 2020) will have to be run behind closed doors, without spectators.

Provisional BTCC Date at Thruxton Announced

A provisional date for the British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton has been announced which will see Thruxton host rounds 13, 14 and 15 on Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 September 2020. However, the BTCC calendar will remain conditional upon receiving appropriate government directives and approvals regarding the resumption of sporting activities.

All tickets for the original race meeting date (16/17 May) are valid for the new provisional date and any further rescheduled date. If the race meeting is cancelled and not rescheduled, or if you cannot attend on the new date, a full refund will be made to ticket holders.

Thruxton BTCC VIP Packages

Enjoy the BTCC Race Meetings from the exclusivity of the new Thruxton Centre. The upper floor and balcony are reserved for VIP Packages and are limited to a small number of guests.

We've invested in clear signage throughout the venue to reinforce social distancing guidance and personal hygiene measures. Hand sanitiser stations have been installed at key points around the venue.

Yes, you can buy tickets at the gate on arrival. However, we advise purchasing tickets prior to the event to avoid additional queues.

We now use an e-ticketing system which is designed to send your tickets by email. However, if you would like us to send you a ticket in the post, please call our ticket office on 01264 882200, option 1. PLEASE NOTE: There is a £3 charge for postal tickets.

For the fastest access into the venue, we recommend that you print your tickets.

You can also show tickets on your mobile phone, however, to avoid delays we recommend downloading and saving these to your device.

Unfortunately not. Tickets are available to purchase in advance - for the quickest way into the venue. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at the gate on arrival.

Grandstand seating is not included in the price of the admission ticket. Grandstand seats can be purchased separately in advance and on the day of the event - subject to availability.

Additional Camping Information

PLEASE NOTE: Camping is only permitted in the designated campsite. Camping in the car parks is strictly prohibited.

The campsite will open at 12pm on the Thursday before the race meeting and will remain open until Monday morning after the race meeting. The campsite is manned 24 hours a day but the latest arrival is 11pm, to avoid disruption to the other campers.

PLEASE NOTE: Camping is only permitted in the designated campsite. Camping in the car parks is strictly prohibited.

Children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge to the Circuit and Paddock (max 5 children per responsible adult). A teen ticket is available for 13 - 15-year-olds.

The circuit is open from 7am.

The last race/event will finish no later than 6:30pm.

We have a designated banking area for Blue Badge holders, which is accessible via Gate 4. This is a raised bank for you to park your car, providing a view over the 'Complex' section of the circuit. There is also disabled parking at the top of car park A. Ask a member of the security staff to direct you if you're unsure. All passengers/driver must have relevant admission tickets.

Unfortunately, there is no cash machine on site.

If you have lost any of your property please report it as soon as you can to the BARC office which is located under the Members grandstand (01264 882200 option 6), this is where any lost property is handed in.

In the event that a child is found to be lost within the circuit, they will be taken to the BARC Office where CRB checked staff will care for them until they are reunited with their parent/guardian.

We have trained medics on-site in various locations and we also have a manned medical centre, any member of staff or security will be able to assist you.

Thruxton is an active airfield and race circuit and as such, there is a strict no dogs/pets policy on site, except for registered guide dogs who are allowed, providing they are kept on a lead at all times and are easily identifiable as guide dogs. Any dogs/pets found to be locked in a vehicle will be removed.

There are baby changing facilities in the toilets at Allard and Chicane corners.
