New guidance has been issued by the government today which affects spectators attending non-elite sporting events. This would have been permitted as part of step two of the roadmap which comes in to effect from Monday 12 April onwards.
Whilst outdoor attractions and events can take place with up to 4,000 visitors, a specific ban has been applied to spectators at sports events until 17 May.
This means that the Classic Sports Car Club Race Meeting here at Thruxton (Sat 1 - Sun 2 May 2021) will now be run behind closed doors with only essential personnel able to attend.
Ticket Holder Refunds
We will automatically refund the full cost of any ticket purchases within 7 working days.
We are disappointed by this latest announcement and appreciate the disappointment that this will cause, but we have to follow the guidelines from the government. We are grateful for your understanding at this time and look forward to welcoming you back to Thruxton soon.
Race Meetings
Spectators will be welcome at Thruxton for race meetings, in line with the latest government roadmap guidance after 17 May, in compliance with COVID-secure guidance issued by the government at that time. Starting with the Thruxton Historic (Sat 12 - Sun 13 June) - A two-day event with plenty of historic and classic racing action on track and a host of family-friendly attractions of it.
