Driving Experience - Customer Information

05 Aug 20

We're back on track with our Circuit Driving Experiences in our fleet of Supercars, Sports Cars and Racing Cars, plus Junior Driving Experiences are also running.

ADDITIONAL SAFTEY MEASURES

We've made some changes to how our driving experience days operate to ensure the safety of our guests and colleagues while at Thruxton.

A robust plan has been completed including a COVID-19 risk assessment and additional measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of our guests and colleagues while at Thruxton.

• We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment
• We have additional cleaning, handwashing, hand sanitising and hygiene procedures in place
• We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure government guidance on social distancing is maintained
• All vehicles will be sanitised after each customer drive

We will be taking extensive measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues throughout the venue by implementing strict social distancing when moving around the venue or inside the buildings, and other preventative measures in our facilities to ensure we can operate safely. This includes clear signage and enhanced cleaning procedures.

In addition to this, we have sourced and invested in hand sanitiser stations, anti-viral surface cleaning products and protective safety screens where appropriate.

We do however rely heavily on the cooperation of our visitors to comply with the latest government guidance and best practice to ensure a safe venue for all. In line with Government guidance, if you are displaying any symptoms whatsoever (new/persistent/continuous cough, fever and loss or change to your sense of smell/taste) you should not attend Thruxton under any circumstances.

Please read out Customer Information Sheet for full details.

Please confirm your details, tell us who you’re bringing with you and confirm you’ve read our Terms and Conditions and this Customer Information Sheet.

ON THE DAY

At the start of the day before any guests arrive, all public area surfaces and all vehicles in use will be wiped down with an approved antibacterial/antiviral odourless cleaner.

This procedure will be repeated for every vehicle between each customer drive.

On arrival, all guests must park in the customer car park as marked on the paddock map below. Please allow plenty of space between vehicles to allow other guests enough space.

All guests must wash or sanitise their hands and fit a face mask before entering any building at Thruxton.

Additional guests, refreshments and viewing areas

Guests are welcome free of charge, however, entry to the various buildings will be limited so they should attend expecting to be outside for the majority of your visit. There are plenty of viewing areas of the circuit and cars.

THE RESTAURANT WILL BE OPEN FOR TAKEAWAY FOOD AND DRINK, HOWEVER, THIS WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN OUTSIDE TO CONSUME
