Briefing

Our senior ARDS Race Instructor will give a full briefing detailing the important information you need to know before getting behind the wheel and heading out on track; circuit layout, racing line, turn in, apex, exit, braking, throttle control, driving Position, steering, pedal control, gear change, understanding paddle shift, overtaking and flag signals. As part of the briefing we have a unique CGI sequence which shows how a vehicle reacts to the inputs made by the driver including; chassis dynamics, weight transfer, oversteer and understeer.

Our advanced ARDS-qualified race instructors will help guests learn the circuit and get the most out of the Lotus Emira and enjoy their time on track.

Guest drives the Lotus Emira - Session 1

Get behind the wheel and drive the brand-new Lotus Emira. A lightweight, mid-engine, MANUAL GEARBOX, rear-wheel drive supercar. A combination few manufacturers now make. Heading out onto the fast and flowing circuit at Thruxton, the car comes alive and wants you to push harder. The Emira is perfectly at home on track.

Break

Guest drives the Lotus Emira - Session 2

With the initial session of six laps under your belt and after a short break, it's time to head back out on track. The Lotus Emira is great fun to drive and encourages you to push on, especially around the fast corners at Thruxton.

High Speed Passenger Ride in the Lotus Emira

Your ARDS race instructor will finish the experience off with a high-speed white knuckle ride in the Lotus Emira.

About the Lotus Emira One-2-One

The first new Lotus in a generation features a stonking V6 engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, sending all the power to the rear wheels - the perfect combination!

The Emira marks the beginning of a new era for Lotus, and the last to be offered with an internal combustion engine. The Emira's 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine develops 400bhp and 420Nm of torque. That’s enough to fire it from 0-60mph in a rousing 4.2 seconds and a plenty quick enough top speed of 180mph.

This driving experience puts you behind the wheel of the Lotus Emira for two, six-lap sessions, giving the driver lots of time to enjoy the Lotus Emira to the max!

We operate on selected weekdays and Saturdays. Please note: there is a £17 premium if you choose to book on a Saturday, payable when a date is booked
Drivers must hold a full drivers licence
On the day drivers must wear clothes that cover their arms and legs
